Class Description
Drawing and Painting One is an intermediate level class. In this class you will practice a variety of drawing techniques, be exposed to new materials, explore on a deeper level, create finished projects and learn about the appreciation of art and its history. This class is a prerequisite to the advanced levels of Drawing and Painting.

In our first project we will review the elements of art by watching a video that shows how impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh used the elements of art. Working with the Drawn Line
Drawing Foundations
In this unit we will review and practice various kinds of line and important techniques and the effects they can create in your drawings.
This section of the class will conclude with two formal/finished drawings, a still life and a portrait.
